A. GENERAL RULES

1. Types of Presentation

  • Oral Presentations
    Presenters have 8 minutes to present and 2 minutes for discussion
  • Poster Presentations
    There will be a dedicated area for posters and ample breaks during the programme for interaction with poster presenters.

2.  Abstract Receipt Confirmation

a. Upon successful submission, authors will receive an automated acknowledgement via email.
b. Lack of acknowledgement will indicate that the abstract was not received. Please get in touch with us if an acknowledgement does not follow the abstract you submitted.
c. Abstracts received after the closing date will not be accepted.

3.  Notification of Acceptance

a. The Presenting Author of each abstract accepted will be notified by email.
b. Log in using the username and password you set previously to view your abstract.

4.  Publication

a. Upon acceptance of your abstract, the presenting author must register for the Scientific Meeting to present at the Oral Session or Poster Presentation.
b. The abstract will be published on the SEMS ASM 2025 Website only if the presenting author is registered and full payment is received by Tuesday, 31 December 2024, 23:59 hours. SGT.
c. Abstracts will be published as submitted.

B. HOW TO SEND ABSTRACTS

    • Abstracts can only be submitted via the website. Abstracts sent by post or email will not be accepted.
    • Authors must submit their abstracts online at www.semsasm.com.
    • Should you experience any problems, please contact:

C. GENERAL SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

    1. All abstracts must be submitted via the SEMS ASM 2025 Website at www.semsasm.com only.
    2. Abstracts must be in English only.
    3. Please note that your submission must be completed before the submission deadline to be considered for the SEMS ASM 2025.
    4. After the submission of the abstract and before the closing date, you may continue to edit the abstract. No editing of the submitted abstract will be allowed after the respective closing dates.
    5. Abstracts will be judged solely on the basis of the data submitted.
    6. The total word count is not more than 300 words for each abstract.
    7. List no more than eight individual authors/co-authors for each abstract.
    8. The name of the institution(s) to which the work should be attributed; the department which the authors/co-authors are working with, city and country; and the contact information, i.e., email address of the first author/presenter, as well as all the co-authors.
    9. The information provided is for information only and is subject to change without notice.
    10. All the programs and proceedings of the SEMS ASM 2025 are subject to change without notice.

D. ABSTRACT SUBMISSION TOPICS
The abstract should be 300 words or less (excluding title, authors’ names and institution details) and submitted in a structured format with complete sentences. Please indicate your preference for either oral or poster presentation.

E. ABSTRACT CONTENT
Please make the abstract as informative as possible and support your conclusions with data. Abstracts should be structured to include the following four sections:

  • Background and Aim: indicates the purpose of the study.
  • Methods: describe pertinent experimental procedures.
  • Results: summarise the results of the research.
  • Conclusions: states the main conclusions.
