Registration Fees: Date: Time: Venue: Duration: Target Audience: Maximum Capacity: Workshop Format: Faculty: CME points awarded on completion: Workshop Details: Despite this, critically ill patients are moved intra- and inter- hospital on a daily basis, occasionally by staff with minimal or no experience in transport medicine. This course is a one-day compendium of simulation, refresher lectures and talks on the important aspects of moving critical patients from point A to B safely. It also includes a hands-on training scenario on a real ambulance for the participants to fully experience some of the issues that come with transporting patients in a moving vehicle. The faculty of doctors, nurses and paramedics have decades of medical retrieval experience. This course is open to ALL fields of healthcare involved in moving patients. |
