We are pleased to invite you to the upcoming Toxicology Course on February 25–26, 2025, which will be part of the SEMS ASM pre-conference offerings.

This two-day course includes interactive sessions on the first day, followed by simulation exercises on the second. Designed as a flipped classroom, pre-course notes will be provided, and access to lectures and MCQs will be available via QR codes.

Workshop Details:
Critically ill patients are moved constantly from location to location and their journey is often subject to complications and poor patient outcomes.

Despite this, critically ill patients are moved intra- and inter- hospital on a daily basis, occasionally by staff with minimal or no experience in transport medicine.

This course is a one-day compendium of simulation, refresher lectures and talks on the important aspects of moving critical patients from point A to B safely.

It also includes a hands-on training scenario on a real ambulance for the participants to fully experience some of the issues that come with transporting patients in a moving vehicle.

The faculty of doctors, nurses and paramedics have decades of medical retrieval experience. This course is open to ALL fields of healthcare involved in moving patients.
