Profile:
Dr Kuan Win Sen is Senior Consultant and Research Director at the Emergency Medicine Department, National University Hospital. He is Adjunct Associate Professor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore; Research Officer at the NUHS Value Driven Office; and Council Member for the College of Emergency Physicians, Academy of Medicine, Singapore. His research interests are in sepsis, emergency critical care, MedTech and value-based healthcare. Dr Kuan has contributed 120 peer-reviewed publications and is a member of several steering committees locally and internationally. He regularly facilitates at evidence-based medicine workshops and advanced life support courses.

Dr Sim Hui Wen

Profile:
Dr Sim Hui Wen currently works at an interventional consultant cardiologist in National University Heart Centre and Ng Teng Fong General Hospital, Singapore. She currently serves as the director of the invasive cardiovascular lab. She is also the designated research director of Ng Teng Fong General Hospital’s Cardiology Division. She has received educational grants and is the PI & site PI of several multicentre clinical trials and registries. Dr Sim has a special interest in women’s heart disease and ischemia/angina in non-obstructive coronary artery disease.

Profile:
Dr Shanaz is a dually accredited Emergency and Intensive Care physician practicing at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital ICU. He chairs the hospital’s life support committee and is actively involved in the crafting and governance of the hospital’s resuscitation protocols. He is also actively involved in education and is Director of the Simulation & Clinical Education Centre at NTFGH.
