Workshop Details:
The Life Support course is tailored for healthcare providers who are exploring the application of point-of-care ultrasound in the management of critically ill patients. Covering six major systems (D HI MAP) in detail, the course presents a systematic and comprehensive assessment with ultrasound. Lectures are condensed and delivered in an interactive format, with hands-on training sessions forming the cornerstone of the program. This focused and targeted evaluation aims to enable rapid and effective decision-making, and enhance triage, diagnostic, therapeutic and monitoring capabilities.

Workshop Details:

Neonates ½ day (AM)

Objectives:
To understand and review management of newborns (term and preterm) following unexpected delivery in the emergency room, or born out of hospital.

To be able to perform procedures and skills specific to neonatal resuscitation.

Course contents:
The workshop includes a concise review of resuscitation concepts specific to newborn term and preterm infants, followed by an interactive onsite hands-on learning. There will be 2 simulated scenarios and 2 skill specific hands-on stations with real-time debriefing.

Paeds ½ day (PM)

Objectives:
To have hands-on practice and interactive group learning on the management of critically ill and injured paediatric patients through high-fidelity simulation training.

Course contents:
The workshop will be an interactive hybrid simulation session with onsite hands-on learning. There will be 3 scenarios with real-time debriefing.
