Workshop Details

Specifically designed for healthcare providers who are exploring point of care ultrasound to enhance the evaluation and management of the patients with abdominal symptoms. Covering the peritoneum and seven major abdominal organs, the course presents a systematic and focused assessment with ultrasound. Lectures are succinct and delivered in an interactive format.

The Hands-on Training is the cornerstone of the program. During these sessions, participants will be guided to perform bedside scans on volunteers with normal and pathological findings. This course will introduce the fundamental concepts in evaluating the abdomen using point of care ultrasound for healthcare provider.

Workshop Details:
Specifically designed for healthcare providers who are exploring point of care ultrasound to enhance the management of a critically ill patient. Covering six major systems (D HI MAP) in detail, the course presents a systematic and comprehensive assessment with ultrasound.

Lectures are condensed and delivered in an interactive format. Hands-on training sessions form the cornerstone of the program. This focused and targeted evaluation aims to enable a rapid and effective decision making, and improve triage, diagnostic, therapeutic and monitoring capabilities.

 

Terms and Conditions

1. Pre-Workshop Registration

Registration for all pre-workshops is only permitted when participants sign up for the main conference.

2. Pre-Workshop Cancellation by Organisers

The organisers reserve the right to cancel the pre-workshop if the number of sign-ups falls below the expected level. In such cases, a full refund will be issued 30 days after the main conference ends.

3.  Cancellation Policy

a.Notification for cancellation or name change must be made at least 6 weeks prior to the date of the pre-workshop.
b. Refunds amounting to 50% of the registration fee will be issued 30 days after the main conference ends, provided that an official proof of absence is submitted. Alternatively, a name change on the registration is allowed before Friday 31, January 2025.
