Registration Fee

Terms and conditions for payment by credit card, local cheque, inter-bank transfers and telegraphic transfer/WIRED:

  1. Based on the procedures stated below, all registrations must be fully paid in Singapore Dollars (SGD).
  2. All payments paid by credit card MUST be made online.
  3. All local cheques or telegraphic transfers (TT/WIRED) should be made payable to the “ACE-SEMS2025” in Singapore Dollars (SGD).
  4. For local cheque or telegraphic transfers (TT/WIRED):
    • Please indicate the registrant’s name on the back of the local cheque before sending it to the SEMS ASM 2025: Meeting Secretariat
    • Please indicate the registrant’s name on the front of the Telegraphic Transfer (TT/WIRED) advice after payment has been made and either email or mail the advice to the SEMS ASM 2025: Meeting Secretariat.

  • About Payment Transaction Clearance Charge & Goods and Services Tax (GST).
    Society for Emergency Medicine in Singapore (SEMS) UEN No: S93SS0132L.
    • For payment made by credit card, the bank transaction charge of 6% is exclusive to the rate as shown above.
    • For payment made from a foreign bank outward Telegraphic Transfer (TT/WIRED), the delegate must include a bank transaction charge of SGD60.00 (per transaction) in the total amount payable to the “ACE_SEMS2025“. If there is a shortfall because you did not add the transaction charge, you will need to settle the outstanding amount before your registration is considered complete.
    • There will be no GST charge as SEMS is not GST-registered.

Terms & Conditions

How to Register

  • The SEMS ASM 2025 will be held on 27 – 28 February 2025, 09:00 – 17:00 hours Singapore Time (GMT+ 08:00).
  • All delegates are required to register their attendance online via the website. On-site registration is available, and an on-site registration fee will be applied.
  • On-site registration: we only accept cash or credit card payments, and the on-site registration fee will apply.

Registration Fees (for Delegate)
All delegates must pay the full SEMS ASM 2025 Registration Fee (in Singapore Dollars). Delegates will be entitled to the following:
In-Person Component

  • Name badge
  • Admission to all SEMS ASM 2025 sessions and the exhibition hall
  • Invitation to the Opening Ceremony

Confirmation of Registration

  • For all TT/WIRED, local bank transfers, and local cheque payments: Upon clearance by the bank, your registration will be updated, and an official receipt will be sent via Email.
  • You may log into your registered portal anytime to check your registration status and print your receipt and invoice.
  • Nearer to the SEMS ASM 2025 date, you will receive a Welcome Letter with full details about the Annual Meeting via Email.

Cancellations and Refunds Policies
Please note cancellations/refunds of successful registrations will not be possible after Saturday, 30 November 2024.

Replacement of Delegates
After full payment of the registration fees, however, the following flexibilities can be given:

  • For participants who have completed payment of the registration fees but find themselves unable to attend, the following options will be available:
    1. Change of participant name is allowed (i.e. another delegate can attend in place of the original person)
    2. All replacement requests must be sent by Email to the Meeting Secretariat at admin@semsasm.com no later than Friday, 7 February 2025.
    3. It is the delegate’s responsibility to ensure that the Meeting Secretariat has received the written request.

Language
The official language of the SEMS ASM 2025 is English, and no simultaneous interpretations will be available.

Letter of Invitation for Delegates

  • Delegates who require a letter of invitation to attend the SEMS ASM 2025 should write to the Meeting Secretariat.
  • The overseas delegate who needs the V39A form to apply for an entry visa should write to the Meeting
    Secretariat to request the Letter of Invitation, V39A & 14A forms.
  • Please note that the letter of invitation should not be considered as an official invitation covering fees and other expenses.
  • We will issue the above-requested documents upon receipt of full payment.

Data Protection and Sharing of Contact Details
Respecting and keeping your data safe is of utmost importance to us. Please be assured that if your data is collected, used, or disclosed for the organization and execution of SEMS ASM 2025, we will protect it as required under the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and other relevant legislation.

In addition, the SEMS ASM 2025 Organisers and its Meeting Secretariat will periodically send e-mailers to all delegates regarding activities at the SEMS ASM 2025 or other communications that may be of interest unless otherwise explicitly stated by the delegate on the registration form.

Suppose a delegate has opted to receive newsletters/e-mailers; he/she can opt out at any time by clicking the “Unsubscribe” option.  Please note that information and updates about SEMS ASM 2025 will not be sent to the delegate by opting out. It is the duty and responsibility of the delegate to check the website regularly for updates.
